Distribution of free medical kits
The Palai Social Welfare Society distributed medical kits in collaboration with Caritas India at Elanji Church Parish Hall for Elanji, Thirumaradi, Kakkoor, Koothattukulam, Xavierpuram, Piravom, Periyapuram, Marangoli, Mutholapuram, and Vadakara. Volunteers from each parish received the kit. They will arrange free health check-ups at each house so that everyone in the area can benefit. The kits include a pulse oximeter, thermometer, inhaler, sanitizer, hand wash, and an N95 mask. The distribution of the medical kit was inaugurated by Fr. Francis Edathinal, Director, Elanji Zone. PSWS Director, Fr Thomas Kizhakkel presided over the meeting. Fr. Sebastian Alapattukunnel felicitated the meeting. Rapid Response Team Coordinator Jaison TJ took a class on the function of the pulse oximeter. Mrs. Litty Santosh and Mr. Biju Kuriakose were spoken at the meeting.
